We Are St Peter’s Youth, the youth expression of St Peter's Church in Loudwater. St Peter’s youth exists to serve, love and walk alongside young people aged between 11-17. We are passionate about seeing young people encounter Jesus, and fully believe that you can and should have loads of fun whilst doing so! Make sure to follow us on Instagram, just search we_are_stpetersyouth

With Sunday mornings and midweek hangouts, there is plenty for young people to get involved with, make friends and of course eat a load of food (a hangout without food is just an email right?)

We currently run two sessions for our whole youth to get together, Sunday mornings (during the 10am morning service) and Thursday evenings. Both events allow our young people space to relax, eat, have fun and hear about Jesus. We also throw loads of socials into the mix throughout the year, so be on the lookout for those.

On top of our weekly hangouts our youth worker is fully involved with the local community. This takes on many different forms, most notably in The Beaconsfield School where we run lunch clubs and a mentoring programme. Should you feel like your young person could benefit from input from a positive male role model, or just someone to hangout with, make milkshakes and play on the computer then drop a message to Mark, our Director of Kids and Youth Ministry, mark@loudwater.org

Planning your Visit

new to church website

Whoever you are, wherever you’re from, and whatever your life looks like right now, we’d love to welcome you to St Peter’s. Everyone’s invited; just come. We meet for our Sunday service at 10am, here’s what to expect when you come:

Most of us hesitate before walking into a place full of strangers, but don't panic – you will be welcome and there's no need to take part in anything you’re not comfortable with. We all come as we are, so there's no need to dress up - wear something that makes you feel comfortable.

Where and When

We meet in the main Church building on the corner of Treadaway Hill and Kingsmead Road at 10am. For your first visit, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to ensure you get a parking space and find somewhere to sit before the service begins. When you arrive, you should be greeted by someone on our Welcome Team, if you're unsure where to sit then our team will help you to a seat.

We serve tea and coffee from 9:45am in the small hall opposite the Church, before the service begins. It is a great way to meet people, or simply take time to find your bearings. All refreshments are free.

Plan your journey:
Our car park is quite small and on Sundays it's reserved for those who have mobility difficulties.
Additional parking is available on the Treadaway Estate opposite the church car park entrance. When making use of the parking on the business estate please only park alongside the fence-line parallel to the businesses. If parking on surrounding residential streets please be considerate as we want to be good neighbours.

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up.

Our Service

Our 10am service is an informal service of contemporary worship for all the family. The service begins with a time of all-age worship before children join their groups. Each week we hear a relevant message from the Bible and take time to pray together and respond to what God is saying and doing as we worship. Once a month we share in Holy Communion together.

What about my kids?

We have a great programme lined up for kids of all ages:

  • The Ark (0 months to 3 years)
  • Little Lions (3-5 years)
  • All Stars (5-10 years)
  • St Peter's Youth (11+ years)

Children stay with their parent or grown-up at the start of the service for the welcome and worship. We really value worshipping God altogether as a family. At the end of the family worship someone will announce that it’s time for the younger members to go to their various groups. You will need to go with your children to their groups and register them as part of our child safety policy.
Please collect your children at the end of the service from their relevant group.
