We are St Peter’s Youth, the youth expression of St Peter's Church in Loudwater. St Peter’s youth exists to serve, love and walk alongside young people aged between 11-17. We are passionate about seeing young people encounter Jesus, and fully believe that you can and should have loads of fun whilst doing so!

With Sunday mornings and midweek hangouts, there is plenty for young people to get involved with, make friends and of course eat a load of food (a hangout without food is just an email right?). It's been a tough year for all young people but we are pleased to announce that we will be meeting in person again. If you would like more information on all things youth, please contact our Youth and Children's pastor, Mark, via email

Crew hangouts is our youth group's version of small groups. These will vary from older youth and younger youth hangouts, to girls and boys hangouts. Crew nights vary, but the awesomeness doesn't.  With a wide variety of things to do and more importantly eat, there is plenty to do to keep your young people busy and entertained.

Gaming nights are exactly what you might think they are- a night full of console gaming. With a wide variety of consoles on offer,  there is plenty to get involved with. These nights are really relaxed and give young people an opportunity to game with their friends OR attempt to destroy a youth leader at Fifa (currently not happened... #bringit) There are plenty of screens and variety of games, that we feel there is something for all gamers out there.

We are always on the lookout for new epic games to play (and win at) so all suggestions are welcome.

Creative nights are nights were our youth can get creative, with a wide mix of crafts and other creative things to do, there will be plenty to busy. You don't have to be artistic to join us and we will always make sure there is plenty of banter and chocolate to go around.

Creative nights are generally more laid back than our other hangouts, but we love them.

Newday is one of the largest Christian events specifically tailored for young people that takes place in the UK every year. Young people aged right through their teenage years join together from churches up and down the UK and Europe to learn about and worship God, camp out together and soak in the summer festival feeling, leaving Newday further along in their relationship with Jesus.
This year’s Newday takes place from Monday 1st  August to Friday 6th August at the Norfolk Showground, just outside Norwich. It’s open to young people aged 12-19 currently in school years 7 -13.

The price of the week before the 30th April is £200 and this includes the festival ticket for all meetings, events and sports tournaments, breakfast, lunch and dinner from our catering team and travel on the coach to and from NEWDAY.
After the 30th April 2022, Newday increase their ticket prices which increases the total ticket price from £200 to £225.
If you wish for your young people to attend Newday, you have two options;
1/.  Pay a deposit of £50 (per young person) which secures the cheaper £200 ticket price with the balance to follow at a later date.
2/. Pay the total balance of £200
Booking before the 30th April helps us:-
1/.  Organise a strong team of leaders
2/. Build a cooking team to cater for the right size group

Planning your Visit

new to church website

Whoever you are, wherever you’re from, and whatever your life looks like right now, we’d love to welcome you to St Peter’s. Everyone’s invited. We meet for our Sunday service at 10:30am, here’s what to expect when you come:

Most of us hesitate before walking into a place full of strangers, but don't panic – you will be welcome and there's no need to take part in anything you’re not comfortable with. We all come as we are, so there's no need to dress up - wear something that makes you feel comfortable.

Where and When

We meet in the main Church building on the corner of Treadaway Hill and Kingsmead Road at 10:30am. When you arrive, you should be greeted by someone on our Welcome Team, if you're unsure where to sit then our team will help you to a seat.

Plan your journey:
Our car park is quite small and on Sundays it's reserved for those who have mobility difficulties and first time guests. Additional parking is available on the Treadaway Estate opposite the church car park entrance. When making use of the parking on the business estate please only park alongside the fence-line parallel to the businesses. If parking on surrounding residential streets please be considerate as we want to be good neighbours.

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up.

Our Service

Our Sunday service is an informal service of contemporary worship for all the family. The service begins with a time of worship. Each week we hear a relevant message from the Bible and take time to pray together and respond to what God is saying and doing as we worship. We share in Holy Communion together once a month.

What about my kids?

We have a great programme lined up for kids of all ages at St Peter's Kids:

  • The Ark (0 months to 3 years) - children using The Ark will need to be accompanied by a parent or carer.
  • Little Lions (3-5 years)
  • All Stars (5-10 years)
  • St Peter's Youth (11+ years)

Children need to be registered before 10:30am, so please make sure you arrive in time to check in your child. When you arrive onsite please head to the kids check in desk at the entrance to the halls, opposite the church, where our team will be ready to meet you and your child. If you want to know more about our kids groups contact
